Default Check-raised with nuts on turn (deep-stacked)

    Opponent unknown.

What is hero's play here? Is this an easy reraise? If so, how much do I raise?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($500.75)
    UTG ($88.95)
    MP ($255.40)
    Button ($521.60)
    SB ($402.10)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T, J.
UTG calls $2, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: ($6) 9, 6, 8 (3 players)
SB bets $5, Hero raises to $16, UTG folds, SB calls $11.

    Turn: ($38) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $18, SB raises to $50, Hero ?

I'd make it $150 and hope he goes the distance.

Where's the interesting decision? Reraise to 150 seems fine. Hope for T7/75/55/66/88/99 etc.

Either he sucks and he just caught 2 pair (Q9?), or he doesn't suck and he caught his (probably lower) straight. Not a lot else makes much sense considering he completed before the flop, maybe a set. I like raising about 50 right back. It's callable, even raisable if dude has a straight, and sets up a nice pot sized river bet.

3-bet all day baby. Like dale and johnny said, $150 sounds about right.

I was mostly wondering what an appropriate amount to reraise would be.

Make it $25 on the flop, and reraise to $150 total as played.

Quintuple his bet? My standard raise with a monster in spots like this is usually 3 times the person's bet, and it's generally effective at folding out marginal hands when I'm bluffing. If he doesn't fold on the flop, I'm not really worried, since I can just lay down the hammer on the turn, or hit my draw.

I guess $150 is a bit large, $120 sounds about right.

I meant on the flop. On the turn I did in fact raise to $150, and he folded after thinking for a bit. I'm wondering if maybe I should've reraised less. The depth of stacks made me want to try to get as much money in the pot as quickly as possible.

Oops, I meant to say bet $25 on the turn, your flop raise was fine. I'd bet around 2/3 pot on the turn though so I think $18 is a bit light.
