I think this is very read dependent as to how opp reacts to being raised when he completes the SB. If he's liable to fold I can find a raise. If he will mostly call the raise then I'd rather just check and see a flop and only get froggy if I hit a K, T or better.
I guess I don't hate raising with KTo from the BB but I tend to have a pathological aversion to playing big pots OOP when I don't have a strong hand preflop.
