Hepatitis, in this sense, is not a chronic condition and is a symptom of the EBV that causes mono. It can cause permanent liver damage, but it is very different from Hep C.
Biondino is correct. Cirrhosis is a consequence of chronic liver disease, but the term hepatitis simply refers to inflammation of the liver. It can be caused by things such as viruses like Hep. A-E or Ebstein-Barr(your mono), metabolic disorders, toxins (alcohol, pharmaceuticals, etc). Hepatitis can be a symptom of mono, but you misunderstood your doctor if he said you could specifically get Hep. C
No offense Nuts, but ' this response reminded me so much of the PMS reducing pills or whatever they advertise where a bunch of women are sitting at a table over drinks and one of them mentions it. Then another woman will go on and on in great detail about all the different medical aspects of the drug, including side effects and other things to watch out for... Ending it with "Hey I didn't spend all that time in med school for nothing." [all laugh and fade]
On another note: Koolmoe did say 3 acts, be patient... I have faith that he's working on something reeeeeel goood. heh
yah its funny seeing the creative ways that they throw in the side effects. Also its funny seeing the creative ways they leave them out; theyll describe the drug and tell you how it can help, but never mention the name of it. Instead theyll give you a number you can call and a website you can visit. This way the side effects are up to you to read about.
