I find all this a bit depressing. I think there is some seriously deep seated racism on the internet and on 4chan or /b/ whatever u wanna call it.

Yes its funny and a lot of the vids/memes etc are well made, but it doesn't hide the fact (I think) that a lot of the reason people find this funny is because a black man (who fitted a lot of stereotypes) got beaten up by a white guy.

Clearly the white man has mental health issues. Clearly the black guy was drunk. What the fuck makes this so celebratory???

I really find /b/ racist. And the defence of its beyond racist in a post modern way and therefore not racist or that a lot of black people find it funny/ use /b/ doesn't defend it in my book.

The majority or people using /b/ i'd guess are white men aged 14-25 who wouldn't dream of saying any of that shit, but think they can say these things because its on a forum.

Yeah, it tilts me to see these guys act all big over the internet knowing they'd be scared shit IRL.

However, I'll also admit that I enjoyed seeing EBM being the black man up. However, it had nothing to do with his race. At the time of watching the video, I was under the impression that the black man was a "thug" slash "gangsta." Personally, I can't stand it when ANYBODY (white, black, Hispanic) give themselves the image of a gangsta. It bothers me even further when a black or Hispanic male simply let themselves fall into a negative stereotype instead of fighting it. I've always prayed to see one of these gangstas get their ass beat.

This is the only truly depressing thing - I don't know what social care in the US is like but this guy has clearly slipped through the cracks - the rest of it is funny as hell.
