As played, I agree with Number2, call the raise and either C-R AI the flop or lead and call the shove. I probably lean towards leading the turn if opp is loose.

Well. Do You think he called with 4s or 5s? I think he's definitely reraising preflop QQ & also JJ I think. I think You have a great chance to double up against better aces such as AK or AQ.

couldn't i just shove over on flop. if he's going to call a turn bet with a J then i assume he'll call a shove here, and i doubt he's going to bluff after i make the call. as well i'm protecting myself in case he raised with overs.

i'm not overly worried about it but yes he defiantly calling with 4's or 5's, as well i don't think theirs anychance i'm doubling up against AK or AQ unless they hit. but that said i do like a call here, i ended up shoving and got called.

If you both had 1500 chips less you definitely would, but since you're both deep stacked it's better to give yourself another street to get your chips in and potentially avoid a few scare cards on the turn. I don't hate shoving over however.

this is one of the reason i leaned towards shoving. i have to bet out which commits me. as well turn might be a scare card for him and i might not get called by his Jx (which could call a flop bet.) or do i C/R any turn???

Don't hate shoving over on the flop by any means, but considering the chance that a K/Q comes on the turn is pretty low, I still think I prefer to try to give myself another street to get my money in. If you think he'll call a shove with worse jacks then go ahead and shove the flop though.

I was probably tired or what when I was posting. I thought You've hit J & also A on the flop. My baaad. But my play would be probably the same. I can't imagine a situation when I know I'm against a set in SNG. Maybe against some kind of reg or some nit player, but I'm not sure if this is the situation.

Forget about the sets, we are left with 3 outs (the Aces).

If we just call the flop and re evaluate the turn, what is our line?

As a beginner, I get into situations like this a lot and sometimes I am dealing with weaker Jacks but more often than not with overpairs (against sets there is not much one can do...)

So what is the best thing to do (nobody gave a clear answer)
