    whats my flop move here? i had 1295 left.

    does this not seem too transparent considering my stack?

    assuming we re not afraid of the flush coming if flat called, why not 300-400, so it looks like we might be able to get away from it if action ensues.

    a check is out of the question?

    Why do you worry about being transparent? What hands do you think will call 300-400 but will fold to 650?

    Not on this board, with the flush and broadway straight draws out there and FOUR players seeing the flop after your preflop raise.

    A check gives him a way out. If you put some in flop then the rest in turn, you should get the value you are looking for.

    if the players arent great then they might see a smallish bet as weakness and be more proned to push sth marginal, aj for example. a half-sized bet and they should realize that im committed, so im folding out hands that i beat.

    well, i actually shoved, so what hands wouldnt call a pot bet but wouldve called a half-sized one?
