I am Philly, (warning tldr coming up about life, skip to bottom for porn)

a lot of ppl dont know me on here, but im trying to get to know everyone, i just got lynched day 1 in my first WW, am taking part in the FTR fantasy football league that kicks off this weekend, i am (kinda) in a prop bet with spoonitnow, and im always in IRC.

I love pokers, football, basketball, smoking weed, and television (southpark seinfeld futurama simpsons eastbound and down louie sopranos the wire breaking bad ect)

i am 21 i live in florida, (not actually from philly (lol )) ..i have a big family, i am the oldest of 4 biologically and then about 5 years ago my parents adopted 2 children
from guatemala (they are the shit, we call them "the guats"), and my puppy.

As for my pokers history i started playing recreationally with homies in like 06 when i first found this site, started playing online, won like a grand in tournies on bodog, cashed most of it out and lost the rest due to sucking. Deposited a hundo in like 08, tried tournies, went busto again, then last summer (09) i deposited 50 bucks into Stars, decided i would play cash starting at the bottom, so i played for like 2 months and got my roll up to like 150, i got bored and stopped playing. Donked first in a tourny in february one night when i was drunk for like 300 bucks, took out my whole roll except for 65 dollars which went untouched for a couple of months until June when i decided to start playing again.

I took my 65 bucks and ran it up to 200 playing 5nl. Since then i have donked first in a tourny (ftr500 actually) banked a lot of bonus and rakeback money from signing up at FTP, so my roll is now at 650.

Despite all this good news July and August were terrible months for me pokerwise, in my 40k hands at 10nl i am -1ptbb for -100 bucks. So obviously there is a lot that needs fixing. Initially i figured i was just running like shit as i went on a 17bi downswing, came back and was up 5 or 6 bi, and now have gone on another 14-15 bi downswing, so obviously i need to slow down and figure out what im doing wrong. I am rolled for 25 nl but i wont move up until i have like 20k hands of at least 4pt bb or so at 10nl


this is already TL; DR so ill wrap it up here, im going to use this space to post hands i have questions on, general goals, life observations, things i find funny, basically anything i feel like filling this space with.

heres a hand where i did not know how to play, i thought i was way ahead but upon further analysis im good here like never. against ATs,K9s+,QTs+,JTs,T8s+,ATo,KTo+,QTo+,JTo,T9o, AcJc i have 40% equity (on the turn) so obviously leading for value is going to be bad, the range i have given is his flop calling range, and i think this entire range will call a bet of anything up to pot, so i have like no fold equity, and if i check im gonna be in a shitty spot in the river oop where half the deck helps his range and fucks me ( ie A, T, K, 8, 9) and im already pretty screwed as it is. So check/eval based on sizing timing?????

Ok so i had a dream last night that reminded me of a funny story so i decided to bless you guys with said story.

Let me set up the backdrop-

I was 16 and at my girlfriends house (she was 15), we would just sneak around her neighborhood and bang like crazy in bushes and construction sites, ppl who werent homes pools, basically anything. One day we were chilling at her house in her room and we started kissing or w/e and she starts giving me head. ok so i started the month on a huge upswing, thought i figured poker out, epicly downswung and now am worse than when i started the month lol....but during this epic downswong there was just sooo much spew that i coudl have avoided. Life has looked good the last few days, i got a new comp so i no longer timeout fold AA or KK because my comp sucks (seriously happened like 10 times in the last 2 months), also the last few sessions have been good as ive really focused on board texture and deciding whether or not my shit like TPTK or an over pair is good.

ok so life update

september was pretty meh, first week i was up huge, next week i lost everything i won plus a ton more and was down like 5bi on the month, but then the last half of the month i won at 4ptbb for 20k hands and i am over rolled for 25nl....i am feeling confident in my game and someone told me once that the best time to move up is during a heater so i figured why not give it a shot and move back down if i lose more than 125 bucks (would put me at like 700 and something)

as for life, some people have seen my eating healthy thread (thanks to those who have contributed), so it will come as no suprise that im trying to switch things around and get healthy....i havent smoked weed in 4 days (not a lot to some but no minor feat for me), i have ran a mile evry other day over the last 8 days...and i have started eating better....i plan on getting a bench/free weights as soon as i find a good deal on craigslist and ill be well on my way to a better me. also ive started trying to meditate, has not helped me much so far but im sure im doing it wrong, the places i looked online said it can take up to like a couple of weeks of trying to fully get it down so im going to keep plugging away at it.

When he donks small and calls my raise i figure his range is mostly Kx/sets/ FDs...when he c/r's me on the turn so small it looks to me like he has a set...maybe AK but even that is unlikely.

any comments on the hand would be great (especially regarding sizing)...upon further review it looks like the flop raise might have been a little thin, i need him to be calling KT+ and a eff ton of FD's for it to be +EV

Vs 88,44,AKs,AcQc,AcJc,AcTc,AKo you've got 35.6% equity. If he has like 4 combos of bluffs your into the 45% range. Take out the bluffs and the AK combos (which he very well may 3bet) and you're still around 45%. Maybe he doesn't have that many fds but I'm pretty sure I'm calling and seeing the river.

My bet sizing needs a ton of work but I think you coulda raised the flop smaller.

just shove lol. You'd be shoving AA, 88, 99 here so you might as well shove a mega draw as well. Calling and bricking the turn sucks dick and you have the second NFD so chances are you probably have at least one person's diamonds dominated. Gamb000l and such. The only reason I would maybe consider making like a minraise or something would be if that has more fold equity cause it looks stronger. Dunno how these people would read that but regardless get the money in imo.

edit** I dunno if calling is THAT bad actually if we assume the other guy calls relatively often, however I think it's pretty damn face up because I would never ever ever ever ever call with AA 88 or 99 here or probably even A9 or A8
