Default AQs from button, small stack shoves, monster stack reraises.3 left.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 6.5 Tournament, 75/150 Blinds (3 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Hero (Button) (t1995)
    SB (t1115)
    BB (t10390)

    Hero's M: 8.87

Preflop: Hero is Button with ,
Hero bets t375, SB raises to t1115 (All-In), BB raises to t1855, hero??

this is hand 41, and its the 2nd time sb has played a hand. the big stack was using his stack well, bullying effectively. id made a cpl moves on him, so there could be a bit of meta game going on here.
seen him earlier raise as big stack from utg (4 left) with 89suited.

Call/reshove. SB is shoving over with a range that you're ahead of, and the only scenario where you finish 3rd is where SB beats both you and the big stack.

Given your read on BB he is probably just trying to squeeze you out of the pot.

Fold. If the SB is a nit then playing against him in a 3way pot is not a good idea. If it was just the BB I would call but with the nitty SB there then I would definitely fold.

Don't you think that SB might be getting desperate with hands that we're ahead of? With less than 8x BB, AJ, AT and even worse hands start to look pretty good against a button raise.

Plus we're getting better than 2:1 on the call and if we win the side pot our stack is only slightly less than our stack at the beginning of this hand. I really can't find a fold here.

2nd with taipan that this is a pretty standard call. We're likely ahead of both ranges and we are getting good odds.

Also in this month's Card Player there is an article where one of the writers mentions how people mainly post hands for review because they lost. So here is a question: If you won this hand would you have posted it? How many times have you won in similar situations?

Agree that I would call here. In a 6.50, they will often turn over something like A6o and JTs. Given the read, the SB probably does not have complete trash, but I think AQo is better than 2-1 to take this down.

It does seem that people mainly post losing hands. It is difficult to get away from results and realise a winning hand was badly played, particulary if it wasn't a suck-out.

    i wrongly folded

when analysing hand history i think we need to be as objective as poss, but there will mostly always be emotions attached to the result. however, i think this is ok as we learn most thru losing.

Damn. I figured you ran into AK and AA And I agree it's really hard not to base thought processes and questions on short term results. In the long run you do learn what is a losing and winning play but that takes a long time and if you think about it as objectively as possible instead of deciding to fold 99 or AQ here because you were dominated the last 5 times . . .

Also dear "pokerwang" and "pokerwiz" I know you <3 da freerolls but if you could not free-troll every post with 1 liners I would appreciate it very much.
