I would shove, don't hate flat and c/shove good flops.
Without reads I don't think you can fold 30 BB eff, maybe if you had been UTG.

i really thought about folding which is obv very bad here, i have a bad habit of giving unknowns too tight of a range when it gets really late in donkaments. but did come to my senses, so i flat? now his overbet? ez fold?

I'd feel good about shoving here. Some people 3bet/call with worse pairs. If they have a tight 3b/call range, their bluffing range doesn't have to be that wide to jam over them (with these stacks)

    As played definitely c/f flop

haven't been at the table long enough to know for sure, but from what i have seen from villain and table in general at this stage in the tourny, i would say that he is bluffing very rarely here. if we gave him a very small chance of bluffing does this change anything or still shove everytime with my limited reads.

I'd shove it too. Lots of times people will be 3betting your MP open with hands like 88, KQ, AT etc. If they fold two overs that's great, chips without a showdown. If they have 99 or something they might easily talk themselves into a call thinking you have AQ/AK.

I don't really like flatting the 3bet. We'll have like 1.6x the pot left for effective stacks on the flop. Too big really for a stop n go, too small for an evaluate the flop and then decide what to do.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Haven't posted in a long time, but I am a big winner at mid level MTT's. I still suggest only taking my opinion as just that.

I feel that you are ahead very often in this spot, but this is what makes MTT's different than cash. The maintenance of fold equity moving forward. The villain has not disrespected you up to this point. The reality of this spot is that you can flip a coin and choose because of the perception of ranges involved, but if you feel you have a skill edge you maintain it by folding and moving on because you preserve your fold equity.

The fact is you often see weaker hands making this play, but in this particular spot you have to give him at least a bit of credit for a strong range.

If I feel I can liberally steal some blinds and make better EV plays moving forward, this becomes kind of an easily avoidable spot. Like I said though, it wouldn't surprise me if you shove JJ and 88 calls you.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
