    Default 55 vs loose villain 2.20 180-man

Villain has been pretty loose, playing A-x like a calling station. Had a feeling most of the rest of the table would fold, as they had mostly been playing pretty tight so far. I figured I could easily fold it to a raise, and if I got heads up against the loose villain I could be ahead of him on a lot of flops.

Villains range I put him on: 77+ A8+ 89s+. Was wondering how often they could be overplaying AK or AQ, as opposed to having an actual pair on the board. Also ruled out any overpair on the turn because villain usually is aggressive with a strong hand, and passive/calling station with a weaker hand.

shove or fold pre. I would fold because it doesn't look like he'll fold much.

As played, jam flop. You're setting yourself up for no mans land OTT

Sorry bout the results, thought hidden were fine, I'll keep them off in the future.

A previous hand had him playing AJ the same way on a low board against a different villain, which is why I played it like this. But I suppose most turn/river cards would be bad cards for me rather than the villain?

I think that with the short stack that you have and with him being UTG and BB seeming to be able to fold I would have pushed on the flop when he checked being that hes a villain, worst case scenerio he calls with ace high and catches a 3 outer oh well move on to next game bad beat..

    i disagree with this.

with an M of ~8 and a villain who is prone to calling light this is a great spot to get chips in with what is most likely to be the best hand.

This is under the assumption that you play to give yourself a chance to go deep rather than simply make the money.
