Cool, glad to hear it. Ignoring questions is a good way to arouse interest. A lot of posts raised questions in that thread that were subsequently ignored. I figured that cross-posting here may at least elicit a response. Seems that it worked. Cheers.

cross-posting in the "feedback" forum with a melodramatic thread title pretty much forced a response, but I can't say I approve of the tactic. There was nothing about the questionnaire thread that even suggested FTR might be sharing email addresses with third parties or anything like that, and the implication of that possibility is a little offensive.

I get why the vagueness of the thread piqued people's curiosity, but I assume bikes & co had good reason for the vagueness. There was no need to force his hand like this just to satisfy your curiosity and baseless fears about "security of information" surrounding a completely voluntary questionnaire.

it was the fact that bikes chose not to reply to the questions raised in the original thread that made me think these fears may not be baseless. And i've been recently getting a lot of poker spam to e-mail addresses that are only attached to a couple of poker places. It got me thinking, that's all. I mean, if the questionnaire was to be used for commercial purposes (e.g. staking etc) of any sort then it would be somewhat deceptive and offensive to not state that in the thread. I'm glad that this hasn't occurred. Anyway, I used my initiative and got a response. Suggestions for how else i could have got a response?

Is it seriously that big of a deal to you? If you aren't comfortable answering the questions, don't answer them. Pretty simple, no?
why do you care whether i post here to ask or not? up to you though of course.
