Lol... I made a post yesterday that apparently didn't go through that said pretty much exactly this. I don't mind the flop all that much (50/50 kind of thing) but preflop is just gross and by the turn you really need to play some pot control... read: check it back and hope it checks through again.

OP realize that 4 off the button AJo isn't really a good hand even in an unopened pot. Nit opens immediately before you and you're crushed by his range and when you get yourself in these situations, you are often going to be dominated and win small pots and lose big ones.
