As much as the subtitle brigade would like to say how they are great and all they actually massively distract you from a lot of what is going on during a movie.

I personally like subtitles. I say to those who prefer no subtitles... enjoy the film.

I have them on even for shows in English now. I hate missing something cause an actor mumbled his line.

I have no issue with subtitles and I'd rather have them and open up a whole new area of cinema than be completely shut off to it all. Liking sub titles doesn't make you part of the subtitle brigade (which was a joke obviously).
