It's interesting because an eagle grabbed it and then dropped it. Presumably, it at least tried to retrieve it. That's not interesting to ponder?
Do you watch nature programmes? Do you turn away when the lion gets the zebra?

If I saw the eagle carrying the fawn I'd watch. If I saw someone poking at a dead fawn on a power line with a stick I'd watch for maybe two seconds and then get on with my life. It wouldn't count as a big event to me. Your argument was that this was because I hadn't lived in the UK long enough (whatever that means). My argument was most people in the UK or elsewhere aren't fascinated by dead animals to the extent they stop whatever they were doing and watch it all day long. | |
