Cool. Even when I was working I didn't care about those who didn't. Not my business, and I'm not one to judge. It's not like people getting a job results in me paying less tax.
I have a problem with people living on benefits and being against giving a fraction of those benefits to refugees.
I'm not against refugees. You're making that assumption because you fail to see that it's a complex topic. I'm against illegal, undocumented immigration. I am more than happy to open our country to migrants who have something to offer, who come here legally, and who speak at least some English and intend to improve. I respect people who can make the cultural adaptations to succeed in another country to where they're from.
What I don't respect is people traffickers loading up boats in France, a country that is safe, sending them to the UK, and making it seem like we're the bad guys for saying "nah this isn't right".
If helping refugees took money out of your pocket, I'd at least understand your point, but it's doesn't.
Like I say, refugees aren't the problem. You don't understand my point because you don't listen to what I say and instead make assumptions like I hate refugees and oppose immigration. I've told you plenty of times this is inaccurate.
