"Blackout" Drunk

I've not been blackout drunk but what I have done is carried a body bag down a flight of stairs and through a living room where the 20 year olds brothers and friends were seated as we carried his dead body out and loaded it into a hurse. It was a real buzz kill if you know what I mean. I also sat in a ICU room for two days while my best buddy was in an alcohol induced comma. That one was a buzz kill as well!

Sorry to hear. There is a line between drinking until you black out (some people 'black out' after a relatively tolerable 6-7 drinks) and drinking until you suffer from severe alcohol poisoning. One might beget the other, but the line exists imo.
