Raising the flop is awful though, what exactly are we trying to accomplish by doing so? I think the flop is a very easy flat.
Out of interest what range did you give him to give yourself 57% equity. That seems pretty far off.
I must have bet the flop hoping to take the pot right there, as I didn't want a 2 to hit later streets, giving him a straight if he was playing Ax suited.... Why would you flat call it?
When I was playing around with equilab I put in 99+,A2s+,KTs+,JTs,AKo - I could easily be waaaay off as I have only just started. With an unknown player, how do you put them on any kind of range? He could easily have had a small pocket pair which hit to make a set?
