I like gabe, the "ong is wolfy, no he's not" line makes very little sense from a wolf pov. gabe has no problem as wolf attacking me, I don't expect him to posture himself to wolfread me then back off before I even reply. Town.

What would be the point of making that as a wolf? What drives someone to want to fake a post like that? Of all things.

For a villager, what's the sole purpose? To lead the village to hunt for the impossible? Or to just say "hey this is probably a good idea once we have some hard info"?

In general, wolves often like to talk about mechanics, though bauddib specifically doesnt seem wolfy this game.

monkeyface, i dont think that jkds stuff is necessarily wolfy. after just finishing a game with him, and playing with him a lot in the past, jkds is doing that stuff often has a villager

never bold the hoopman. the dude is unbeaten in ww. 236 and 0. he's been vig twice, killing 6 wolves in 5 shots. he was seer in a game where there was no seer. the mod was just too intimidated by the hoopman's presence that he sent him wolf peeks every night. one time the hoopman bolded a villager by accident. once.

I don't like ANY of you reads. I mean, there aren't many times when I fully comprehend how your process works, but this is mostly a straightforward case of you A. misinterpreting the simplest information and/or B. not understanding meta between other players.

I can elaborate if you'd like but it'd probably be a waste of time. Only wolves think about wolf roles? Really? How often do we even have wolf roles? Something potentially game breaking like a tailor/godfather maker merits serious discussion.

Gun to my head, I'd say you're a villager more often than Gator, but it's close.

What exactly do you not like about Ong?

re: first paragraph. both A and B are just words coming from you. you didnt try to convince me of anything. why does your game look so different this game compared to last...

re:second paragraph. "elaborate if you'd like" gives you more wolfy points. and yea the wolfy role thing i said is very true. you said, on the 10 post into the game, that YOU HAD BEEN THINKING ABOUT THE TAILOR ROLE FOR AN HOUR!! that is very very wolfy. obv the tailor is going to fuck with the villagers a lot later in the game. i was planning on just dealing with it whenever stuff comes up. but you are spending significant time (at least in hour only 10 posts into the thread) thinking about how the tailor should operate. also wtf is up with your closing sentence in that same post?:

This is gonna be a wolf who is worth preserving for the wolf team obviously, with full bussing rights. Reading deep into interactions will be key.

This could mess with village strategies in a big way, but I'd rather not talk about that for now.

for instance this post by SIU is largely true but an extreme overreaction to a pretty simple point:

Ship is slightly more likely to post in this fashion as a wolf than a villager.

When someone says, "I do this in both roles" or "it's role-neutral" etc., this is also a pretty big red flag and often isn't true.

SIU did in fact post entirely in this manner for a whole game, as a wolf, and he hasn't done that as a villager. Thus, starting the game like that isn't a good sign, because it's not his normal opening. As for the times I had "copied" his style, I was a wolf 60% of the time (3 of 5).

Anyway, SIU is on the back burner until he and Kami talk ITT.

Gabe became my fav villager last game when he busted rascal so I'm going to be very positive of him until he proves to be otherwise.
