Rather than have this conversation with you I am just going to have it with myself.



Cory: Well rascal is usless since the last wolf is the tailor, which means he can self-tailor every night and then every player peeks as a villager so you cannot at all differentiate between a tailored wolf and a peeked villager ever. No matter who lilrascal targets, he'll get a town result, like a naive seer role.



Drew: Yeah, but what if rascal peeks a villager who was tailored?

Just got back to the hotel.

I peeked SuperMonkeyFace as villager last night. Based on the state of the game when I made that peek, I doubt that he would be tailored, so I feel pretty good about SuperMonkeyFace being villa.

I was able to read thru the thread last night, but not do a full analysis. Here's my reads for now:

Kami - Pretty much lock clear villa because of Hoopy pushing for her lynch in #932 after I hard claimed and my wagon lost steam.
SuperMonkeyFace - Peeked villa N1. Only peek to trust for remainder of game.
Cory/Baudib/ShipItUp - Villas in that order based on their Hoopy vote and the timing of their vote.
OngBonga - Leaning villa, I doubt he pushes my hard claim as much as he did there if he was a wolf.

BankitDrew - Neutral, no strong read on him.
Wufwugy - Neutral, I normally read him wolfy in either role. I'm not getting much of a read either way on him.

Gabe - was leaning slightly wolfy, but don't know now that he's claimed angel. ???

I need some questions answered to make a read on JKDS and Rilla.

I think Ong jumping on Gator for 'traitor' instead of 'tailor' is a big reach, I don't think Ong actually believes he's got a wolf.

Gator would probably not put 3 errors in a post if trying to be derpcleared. 1 is enough.

Monkey is slightly defensive vs JKDS, if he goes back to hunting though I'm not worried.

It's good to have more new people playing.

That's it atm. I'm still recovering from my first MU game.

This is Hoopy's only mention of SMF other than the exchanges listed above.

If you're talking specifically about SMF, it's interesting because he did end up lynching the wolf. Seems like he was trying to find another option near EOD though.

In general, wolves tend to be paranoid about getting peeked.

his behavior makes sense as the vig. with his get out of jail free card by being a special that can claim with no drawbacks, he doesn't give a shit what people think about him, so he would naturally gravitate towards a cigarette butt trolly style. with the power of night kill, he has no incentive to drive the lynch or even give much of his thoughts.

This is irrelevant, SIU hardbusses all the time, I've seen him singlehandedly lunch wolfbros with village trying to lynch villagers as a wolf more than once, it's a part of his wolf playstyle

siu's only post for quite some time had been his hoopy lynch. as hoopy was scrambling to get somebody else killed, one of his final statements was to go after siu once he died. knowing that it's super standard for siu to bus wolves, it is reasonable to think that he bussed hoopy. then after his disappearance, hoopy was a little upset at him since hoops probably doesn't die without siu bussing him. additionally, there is greater incentive to bus because of the tailor power, and siu weirdly says that bussing is not in his arsenal.

I think you're overstating the power of the tailor when more than 1 wolf is alive. It only comes into play if I peek the player that they tailored. That's why I think they didn't RB me and were tailoring someone they thought I would peek hoping I'd come up with a wolf peek.

a sick wolf team says from the beginning the tailor tailors himself then after he gets all vil cred in teh world for killing his buddies he wins.

i think the wolves are half this. they probably havent done much in chat. evene was absent. hoopy was stranded, a little upset that he was dying, and he mentioned ship because ship was integral on his wagon. combined with the fact taht ship busses like crazy (per cory).

I think that is a big stretch from D1 when he voted it was only the second vote on Hoopy. Kami had 3 votes, Ong, JKDS, Wuf, Gator, baudib and Evene each had 1 vote. It would have been a better wolf play for him to move onto one of those wagons instead.
