Finishing last in any poker tournament takes a huge hit on one’s ego, right? Sure, unless you are playing at bwin Poker! Bwin Poker is proud to announce and welcome back their popular promotion “Joker”.
With Joker, absolutely no one loses! In fact, finishing in ninth out of 10 participants actually earns you 20% of the prize pool. Of course first place still receives a nice pay cut of 50% of the prize pool, but ironically, the only other place (besides ninth of course) to have a share of the prize pool is fifth, for 30%.
The great thing about finishing outside of first, fifth and ninth is that players will earn a “I lost the Joker” Freeroll ticket. This Freeroll will be played weekly, every Saturday at 4pm GMT+1, and have a $500 prize pool. This means that no matter what happens, players are guaranteed either money or a great attempt at money in another tournament at no extra cost.
The Joker promotion started this past Monday (March 28th) and will go on all the way up until May 15th. Each tournament is in a Turbo Sit & Go format with 10 seats. Players will begin with 1,500 chips with blind levels increasing every 3 minutes. The buy-in is only $2 + $0.20.
All players have to do to join one of these Sit & Gos is to open the bwin Poker client and log-in, click on the “SIT & GO” section in the tournament menu at the top, find “Joker” in the list and register. It’s that simple!
