bwin Rookie Challenge

Bwin Poker is proud to announce a couple of promotions catering mainly to beginners and smaller stakes players. Their goal is to spice up current bank rolls and give starters a bankroll that will rival seasoned players. Bwin also understands how tough the road is to become a respected, fearful player, so making a mark on these promotions can help.

The first promotion is called the “Rookie Challenge” and has two variations, a series of Sit & Gos and a daily freeroll. Either choice is absolutely free! The winner of the Sit & Go series will win tickets to real money tournaments and the winner of the daily freeroll will win a share of the $300 added prize pool in a payment of real money tournament tickets.

The way the Sit & Go series works is that there are four stages. The first stage consists of five total players with the winner receiving (two) Stage 2 tickets, second place receives (one) Stage 2 ticket, third place gets another chance at the Stage 1 tournament and both fourth and fifth place are eliminated. The second stage consists of five players as well, but this time no one leaves empty handed. First place in this stage receives (two) Stage 3 tickets, second receives (one) Stage 3 ticket, third receives a Stage 2 ticket again, fourth receives a Stage 1 ticket and last place will get a Rookie Challenge Freeroll ticket. Stage 3 is the last time the table is full of five players. The payout structure is exactly the same as Stage 2 except that the winner will receive a ticket to Stage 4. Once at Stage 4, the last stage, only two players will battle. Second place will receive (three) tickets to the Rookie Challenge Freeroll with the champion earning (three) $1.20 tournament tickets.

To register for one of the Rookie Challenge Sit & Gos, register at bwin Poker and/or log-in using your user I.D. Once logged in, go to the lobby and click on “Sit & Go tournaments”. From there, look for “Rookie Challenge” and sign up!

The Rookie Challenge Freerolls are different than the Sit & Gos. However, like the Rookie Challenge Sit & Gos, the main goal is to win tickets to real money tournaments. The buy-in is absolutely free but will require one bwin Poker Point. Each tournament will begin daily at 19:00 GMT+1. There is a $300 prize pool added to every tournament and will be given in the form of tournament tickets.

Registering for the Rookie Challenge Freerolls is simple. Register at bwin or log-in with your user I.D. Once you have earned 1 Poker Point, then your Freeroll ticket(s) will be released. Then, go to “Scheduled tournaments” in the lobby and click on “Rookie Challenge Freerolls” and register. Keep in mind that existing play money players can play in the tournament by making their first deposit and entering “ROOKIE” into the bonus code. Also, all Rookie Challenge tickets will expire after 30 days.

The other promotion is nothing new to bwin players. Bwin is proud to welcome back the “Lowrider” promotion. The Lowrider promotion was a big hit back in January! What attracts so many players is the ability to win a small fortune by only risking a dime.

In the second edition of the promotion, beginner players will have an opportunity to win a big chunk of change with their ten cent investment. For each tournament, bwin Poker will add $1,000 to the prize pool. The tournaments will take place daily at 20:00 GMT+1 starting March 21st through April 3rd. Registering to these tournaments are the same as registering for the Rookie Challenge Freerolls except you will have to choose a Lowrider tournament.
