Already known for putting on one of the best shows in the world of online gaming, bwin poker is planning to outdo themselves with the latest running of their Grand Series of Online Poker. Starting on September 19, players can expect the action to hit the wires with new games, bigger pots, and a few surprises from the organizer’s camp.

This will be the fifth installment of the GSOP, this time with the prize pools totaling a whopping $2,500,000 guaranteed. The events will stretch just over two weeks – and astonishing 15 day parade of cards and cash.

This year’s GSOP will culminate in what bwin has dubbed “The Grand Slam Final” – A No Limit Hold’em Freezeout tourney. The prize pool features $300,000 in guaranteed money, though the final tally will rise if enough players ante up their $5,000 buy-in. Players will also be given the opportunity to satellite their way into this big dance, which will kick off on October 10th at 20:00 CET.

A new and welcome to the 2010 GSOP comes in the form of bwin’s GSOP Mini. Running at the same time as the company’s big event, this particular series is designed to let players with slimmer bankrolls still enjoy their share of the fun.

Besides these tidbits, bwin has hinted at something they’re calling the GSOP Challenge. Here’s what the company’s website had to say on the subject:

“We can’t go into details yet, but we can assure you that this will be the toughest poker challenge you have ever faced. Are you ready for it?”
