Celeb Poker is kicking off the season swing with a fresh batch of great promotions!
Among these offers is their 7 Days, 7 Tickets program, which players can qualify for simply by playing their regular games! If you generate any rake or fees whatsoever, you’ll be eligible for selection as one of five individuals who will receive $20 in free poker cash! A new drawing will be held each week, with users’ names picked at random.
New to Celeb Poker? The people upstairs have thought up a promotion just for you! Starting now, each player who has just made their first deposit (no matter what size) will receive entry into a $2,500 New Depositors Freeroll. These exciting events will take place at 18:00 GMT on the first Wednesday of every month.
But let’s cut to the chase – we’re all looking forward to the 2010 World Series of Poker. The people at Celeb are no different, and have begun running a great series of events which will, for a select group of players, lead to the Main Event in Las Vegas!
There are six ways for players to qualify. Here’s a brief description of each:

“CelebPoker will run a MTT super league that will feature a series of nine different tournaments, for a one time entry cost of $300 + $20. The tournaments will run twice a week during May 2010. Players will be able to enter the league either by directly register to it through the lobby, or by qualifying through the satellite promotion.
“The satellite promotion will run during April 2010. Registration for the league will be available from April 1st to May 9th (at different cost, as detailed below), and will be permanently closed two hours before the third event of the league starts on Sunday, May 9th, at 19:00 GMT. All the players who have entered the league will be registered by CelebPoker to all nine tournaments. Players will gain points on every league tournament they play, and will be ranked based on the amount of accumulated points they gain from each of the tournaments. The last event on the league will be the WSOP Warrior League Grand Final. It’ll be open for the top 200 players who have reached most points.”
Prizes range from the mountainous first place package, with hotel accommodations, tournament buy in, and spending money totaling $25,000 to the tenth place $5,500 WSOP side event package. Finishers 11-100 will be compensated as well, with cash rewards and valuable freeroll tickets.
WSOP Main Event Package
Celeb is also offering a $13,000 ride to the 2010 Main Event, which takes place July 6-13. Satellites are already running and include “two weekly super satellite: a $500+$35 Freezeout on Sundays at 21:00 GMT, and a $200+$15 R/A on Wednesdays at 21:00 GMT.” For a full schedule, you’ll need to check the list inside their poker software, which can be downloaded here.
WSOP Pot Limit Omaha Championship
Hold’em not your thing? Well, then get set to qualify for the 2010 WSOP Pot Limit Omaha Championship! Celeb poker is offering another $13,000 prize package for this event, which will be held June 29-July 5. According to their website, “satellites commence on April 1st, and include a $500+$35 Freezeout super satellite, which will run once in two weeks on Fridays at 21:00 GMT.”
WSOP Experience Package
For those who crave even more live poker action, Celeb is offering players a double shot. By playing in the WSOP Experience satellites, you can earn a shot at their $3,600 package. This includes entry into a live event to be held on the eve of this year’s Main Event, with its winner being catapulted into the big dance itself! Interested yet? Then mark down April 1 on your calender. On that date, Celeb will begin running their satellites, including “a $60+$6 R/A super satellite on Saturdays at 21:00 GMT.”
WSOP Jackpot Sit & Go Executive Package
So, just how hot do your hot streaks really run? Celeb Poker is giving you a chance to prove your mettle with their WSOP Executive JP SnG’s. The action kicks off April 1, with 6-handed tables costing $10+$2 per sear. If you can win six of these events in a row, you’ll receive a $25,000 prize package which includes the following:

WSOP Side Events
This package will net you entry into two big games, WSOP Events #49 ($1,500 buy in) and #54 ($1,000 buy in). These are slated to take place between June 26 and July 5. You’ll also receive nine nights accommodation at the Wynn in Vegas, along with some spending cash to go with it! Action will again commence on April 1, with “a $200+$15 Freezeout super satellite, which will run once in two weeks on Fridays at 21:00 GMT.”
