Day #4 in the Bodog Poker Open V saw more players hitting the tables in a pair of events, one in the Championship Series and another in the Contender Series. Both saw a flood of returning players from other events in the BPOV and new players joined the fray as well, creating a fantastic environment for the competitive player.

Championship Series event #5 was a $30+$3 Rebuy Tournament that featured an extra $5,000 added on top of the prize pool courtesy of Bodog. “Doked” took the top spot, continuing their run of in-the-money finishes at the BPOV. They earned $6,135.25 and a seat in the Bodog Poker Open V main event for their victory. “Medesian Alain” earned $3,904 for a second-place finish and “The Destroyer” got over $2,500 for their third-place finish.

The fourth Contender Series event was a $2,500 guaranteed $5+$1 Rebuy tournament. Like the Championship Series event, the winner got a seat at the Bodog Poker Open V Championship Series Main Event. The honor and $789.25 went to “hebs,” who won first place while “lion132” came in second to earn $502.25 and “landersp” rounded out the top three and pocketed $332.92.
