Event 6 of the FTOPS VI took place on November 11th and the game was 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo (aka Stud 8 or Better). The guaranteed prize pool was only $25,000, which was much smaller than all other events. This is because 7 Card Stud 8OB is pretty much a dying game and not as popular as other games. With the buyin being $100 + $9, the prize pool accounted for 250 people playing. However more 3x as many showed up, 806 total. This sent the prize pool all the way up to $80,600! This 7 Card Stud 8OB event was hosted by Full Tilt Pro Miami John Cernuto. He is the winner of 3 WSOP Bracelets and is a professional poker player who plays regularly on Full Tilt.
Of the 806 players, 96 earned money with the pay starting at $209.56. After all the cards were dealt and chips changed hands, yuvee04 was claimed victorious and won the $17,006.60 that came with it.
