Viktor Blom had a nice relaxing Saturday, and only played 897 hands, with most of that being part of the daily head butting session over the PLO tables, but it seemed to all be sliding away from Viktor, and yesterday marked the end of his winning streak. The watch is going to be shorter than usual, because there really isn’t that much to say.

His day started off with a long wait at 2-7TD, FLO8 and PLO tables, but he finally picked up a game of FLO8, firlstly against Alexander “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn, and then against Patrick “FinddaGrind” Antonius. Both of these top class players ended up losing to Blom, and he walked away with $136,964 from these games, and probably a nice smile on his face as well. We didn’t catch any of these hands, so no FLO8 video today.

We were alerted to Viktor’s daily stroll around the PLO tables by tweet from Full Tilt themselves:

The bulk of the day was played out against Ben “Bttech86” Tollerene, who has been butting heads with Viktor all week at the $500/$1000 $40k PLO tables, and Viktor has been enjoying the run of the cards for the last few days.

Yesterday’s action wasn’t able to be broken up into mini sessions like the previous days, and Viktor and Tollerene were sat at one table as a constant, and had several other tables opening closing around that one. Viktor had worked his way up to more than $420k in profit for the day, but Tollerene played his way back and ended the day with a $451,974 profit from Viktor. We caught some of the action this time, and have a nice video for you.

Viktor’s day was a shorter one than usual, with only 897 hands. The daily results aren’t that pretty reading with Viktor losing $315,010, which took his yearly figures to $3,971,762.

This was the first time, recently, we’ve seen Viktor’s profits nosedive at the end of a session, but it’s still a sign that he has control issues when he starts losing. Going from a $420K profit to a $300k loss takes some doing, but I’m sure Tollerene isn’t complaining today.

I’m hoping this is a blip in the road for Viktor’s recovery from his tilt issues, but I’m not sure that’s the case. The next few days are going to be interesting, and we’ll have to see if Viktor spirals out of control, or if he’s able to control his degenerate tendencies.

I’m off to enjoy my Sunday, and see if I can bink something big, and maybe I’ll turn up in a future Isildur Watch as a player rather than just watching. But I don’t think that would be a good idea for my bankroll.
