Scarcely a year since seeing a pair of their online qualifiers finish atop the Aussie Millions heap, PartyPoker is at it again. In hopes of seeing a repeat performance, the online poker giant is offering players a chance to earn one of the most coveted seats on the planet.

Outside of the World Series of Poker, there is perhaps no more popular tournament on the international scene than the Aussie Millions. With guest lists regularly including the likes of the Hachem brothers and Tony G, the Land Down Under has played host to some of the finest European and Stateside professionals.

Last year, it was Tyron Krost and Frederik Jensen who managed to outlast the field. Both of these top finishers earned their Aussie Millions seats through this same internet qualification process. Now, the folks at PartyPoker are again offering their players a chance to land among this exclusive clientele. From now until January 9, satellites will be running each and every Sunday. Those who make their way through the week’s smaller events will compete over prize packages worth $16,000, including the $10,600 event buy-in, ten nights accommodation at the Crown Promenade Hotel, and $2,500 in extra cash to spend as needed.

Australian born players will be dueling over a slightly different package, featuring the same buy-in and hotel stay but only $500 in free cash. Their schedule is slightly different as well. Be sure to check out the Aussie Millions homepage for complete scheduling details.

Party Poker regular Tony G is looking forward to seeing plenty of new faces at the upcoming live event.

“The online qualifiers for Aussie Millions at PartyPoker.com have already been incredibly popular,” he said in a recent press release. “Most people think that this is because of the inspirational story of how Tyron converted hundreds of dollars into millions of dollars. That definitely is a factor but I think there are some people who want to come to see me bring my German Shepherd Zasko into the poker room. Team Zasko has got bite and is the way forward!”
