Poker Heaven will continue its Sit ‘n’ Go Race Series in March with two Sit ‘n’ Go races. The first Sit ‘n’ Go race will take place from March 1st through the 7th while the second Sit ‘n’ Go race of March will take place from the 22nd to the 28th. Each Sit ‘n’ Go race will have a €15,000 prize pool split up into three separate races: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The prize pool is divided to accommodate players of all bankrolls. In each of the three Sit ‘n’ Go races, twenty players will be awarded money. The Bronze Sit ‘n’ Go race will have a prize pool of €2,000 with sit & go’s of €1-€9 buy-ins qualifying toward the race. The top winner of the Bronze level will receive €500. The Silver level will feature a €4,000 prize pool and any tournaments with a buy-in of €10 to €29 will count towards the race. The winner of the Silver level Sit ‘n’ Go race will win €1,000. Lastly is the Gold level of the Sit ‘n’ Go race. All tournaments with a buy-in of €30 or greater will count toward the race. The prize pool for the Gold level is a huge €9,000 with €2,000 going to the first place racer.
The cash prizes continue with Poker Heaven’s monthly €150,000 MTT Leaderboard promotion. All MTT Leaderboard prize pools are €20,000 including March’s. The top fifty players in each month’s leaderboard will receive a cash prize with first place taking home a €5,000 prize. The top five players from each month’s leaderboard will compete in a 30-player tournament in the first week of July. The winner of that tournament will win a €10,000 live event package.
Multi-table tournament action doesn’t stop there. Poker Heaven is hosting the €250,000 International Championship of Poker (iCOP): a tournament series with a total guaranteed prize pool of €250,000. The events will be taking place from March 1st to March 7th at 19:30 GMT each day. Each tournament will feature a buy-in of €20+€2. March seventh’s tournament will feature a €100,000 prize pool. Additionally, a €15,000 iCOP Leaderboard will be in place exclusively for this tournament series. The first place player of the iCOP Leaderboard will win €4,000.
Last, but certainly not least, Poker Heaven is looking to send one special player and a guest to beautiful Koh Samui. Their Last Man Standing even will run from the 15th to the 24th of March. It will play very similarly to a daily rake race with players competing each day to rake as much as they can to avoid elimination. The top 2,000 players on March 15th will advance to Day 2 (March 16th) with only 1,000 players advancing after that. Play will continue as described until only one player is left standing. The top five players will win a Team Poker Heaven sponsorship package. This basically makes you part of Team Poker Heaven. However, the real prize is for the Last Man Standing. This player will win a seven night vacation in beautiful Koh Samui in May, June, or July 2010. The player will stay at Koh Samui’s premier beach destination: Beach Republic.
