Full-Tilt’s Online Poker Series highlighted a Sunday chalk-full of large MTTs with huge prize pools.  With the PokerStars Sunday Million now being a $1.5 million guarantee there was plenty of money in play for the high-stakes tournament players.  Both FTOPs events had prize-pools over $2,000,000 making this Sunday the biggest of the year to date.

The Sunday Million was absent of a big-name winner as player “Gunslinger3” took down first place and over $140,000 after a five-way chop.

1,040 players accumulated a prize-pool of $520,000 for PokerStars weekly $250k guaranteed and in the end it was “RajaPaki13” who took home first and just over $94,000 in prize money.  Michael “bonzo9876” Katz took home second place and over $68,000.  Katz is a well-known online MTT player having placed second in the $100+9 rebuy on PokerStars in the past.   Busting out first at the final table is notable Limit-Hold’em professional Ian Johns “Ian J”.  Ian can be found playing mid-high stakes LHE and creating videos for a leading poker instructional site.

Well known MTT player “JSchnett” added another huge score to his resume’ with a second place finish in the PokerStars Warm-Up for $75,000.  This eclipsed his previous biggest cash, a 3rd place finish in the Full Tilt $750k for $62,000.  He was defeated by “GrtWhtHype”, an online player whose biggest score until yesdterday was just $6,000.

Nearly 1500 players hoping for one last big score on Sunday entered PokerStars $215 “Second-chance” tournament.  Two well-known online players made the final table.  Jeff “yellowsub86” Williams fresh off his 2nd place finish in a WSOP bracelet event took home 6th place and nearly $13,000.  Online player, “nanonoko”, who is known for playing more than 20 tables at once finished 4th taking home over $22,000.

Full Tilt still ran it’s “Sunday Mulligan” $200+16 buy-in tournament which enticed over 1200 players to take one last shot at the big bucks.  In the end, “vegan213” took home first place and over $54,000 in prize money.   Matt “MattSuspect” Molinari took home 6th place and over $11,000.  Molinari is extremely well-known High Stakes MTT player.  He has won the $109r on Stars and finished 3rd in a $200 FTOPS event held earlier this year.

Rounding out Sunday’s bigger buy-in tournaments is Bodog’s $100+9 $100k Guarantee.  A tournament which tends to never reached it’s guarantee once again provided a huge overlay.  With only 666 competitors Bodog was forced to add over $33,400 to the prize pool.  As always some tough competitors reached the final table with “Jjbrut” finishing second behind “nikkiyayo” who took home the win and neraly $24,000 in prize money.
