The results are in for the first week of Everest Poker’s Forum Challenge Summer League. A whopping 206 players came out to defend their Everest name and their poker forum’s reputation. So far, Everest’s mp59100 is in the lead with 35 points after winning the $100 freeroll on July 14th. FlopTurnRiver’s own damtsay finished in 9th place for 13 points and Blacksun finished in 16th place for 5 points.
Several FlopTurnRiver forum members have commited to make the fight in this forum challenge. Their names on Everest/FTR are respectrez/spectrez, damtsang/damtsay, Galianaaaa/Galiana, xdgigx/xdgigx, crazycunflit/hinata, Mezzapaja/peacenotwar, Blacksun2/Blacksun, and vil1ain/vil1ain. Others may have also been present.
Other forums participating in the event are PokerCurious, PokerDIY, Pokerpro, PokerNewsHeadlines, and Pokerforfree. The forum with the most collective points from their players at the end of the league will receive a special $200 freeroll hosted by Everest.
Five more events make the rest of the league. There is still plenty of time for players to get out and carve out their piece of the $1,000 being offered over the course of the league. The next event is a $50 money added scheduled for July 21st at 20:00 GMT.
