Day Seven in the WSOP House, and I’ve been so hooked on the action, I appear to have forgotten to eat, wash, or leave my computer for the past week. Bad news for my girlfriend, good news for you as I have all the action from The Rio casino in Las Vegas.

Event #6

The $1,500 “Millionaire Maker” has done just that, and the newest WSOP Millionaire is Benny Chen. he won $1,198,780 for taking the bracelet for Even #6. A full write up of the final table is on it’s way.

Day 2 of the $3,000 NLHE Shootout came to a close with the final ten player ready to come back and play for the bracelet and $299,486. 60 players started the day, and those not to make the final table include Antonio Esfandiari (48th for $7,384) Victor Ramdin (45th for $7,384), and Matt Salsberg (21st for $7,384).

The players have slightly different stack sizes due to the fact some of the day 1 tables had slightly different numbers of players, but the final table stacks look like this:

Event #10

Limit Hold’em may be considered passé, but the $1,500 LHE Event #10 is full of people who disagree with that sentiment. Day 2 started with 177 players, but that number didn’t last long. Players who won’t be returning for Day 3 include Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, and Bryan Devonshire. Players who made the money include Nick Schulman (58th for $2,873), Kevin Macphee (41st for $4,048) and Hoyt Corkins (37th for $4,048)

The top ten chip stacks aiming for the $191,605 1st place are:

Event #11

Event #11 is the $2,500 6-Max NLHE event, and attracted 924 players to Day 1. In what can only be considered manic action, only 122 of these are making it back for Day 2. Those not making the cut included Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Scott Seiver, and Faraz Jaka.

Names you may have heard of did make Day 2, and these include Chino Rheem (136,400), Vanessa Rousso (73,500), and Chris Morrman (71,000).
