In what appears to be an attempt to avoid more fallout of Black Friday, the Yatahay poker network has rebranded as the Winning Poker network. They are just one network of many to conduct a rebranding of this sort. Bodog recently rebranded to the name Bovada for U.S. players, while the Action Poker Network rebranded to the Chico Poker Network.

The Yatahay network was subject to various domain name seizures at the hand of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) following the events of April 15th. A number of sites on their network had their dot.com domain names temporarily seized, including DoylesRoom and True Poker. All currently Winning Poker networks are now hosted on dot.eu domains, in order to avoid further trouble from the DOJ or elsewhere.

The Winning Poker network totes themselves as one of the largest growing poker networks. This isn’t surprising, as they are one of the few sites that are allowing American players to sign up. According to the popular poker traffic site pokerscout.com, the network is the 33rd largest in the world, and the 5th largest that allows Americans to play for real money.
