Definition
Card removal is a concept that states if you have an ace or any other card in your hand, it is much more likely that your opponent doesnt. The same applies if the flop has two kings on it: Now your opponent can only have so many hands with a king.
Example
I wasn't sure if the shove on button with A4 was good, but thinking about card removal, it was much less likely he had an ace.
