Definition
Originally used to describe a prearranged deck, which would be used to cheat someone out of money by creating a nut hand and a near-nut hand between two players. Now used to describe the situation, not the deck.
Example
The worst cold deck I've seen involved one player flopping quad Kings on a KKA board, the turn being an Ace, and his opponent flipping over quad Aces when calling the all-in.
