Definition
A system whereby a portion of the bad beat jackpot in a live casino is shared among the players at the table, even if they neither had the winning hand nor suffered the bad beat.
Example
At the Commerce Casino, the bad beat jackpot is split up 60 percent to the hand suffering the bad beat, 20 percent to the winning hand, and 20 percent table share.
